Doctor Who

When I first got into Doctor Who, I expected it to be just some average sci-fi show. Bunch of blood, action, robots, and aliens. But there is so much more to it. There is a completely different dynamic.

Everyone is fussing over Peter Capaldi. Oh! He's too old, how will I ship him? And so on. But that doesn't matter. The story is what matters. Not the looks. The way the story is told.

This show has a high emotion level. You can really get into the story and into the characters, and how complex they are. Each character and story brings a lesson. So what if the effects are rubbish, the plot is all that matters.

I've learned many things from this show. Even though I may not be very adventurous, it has given me another reason to love knowledge. It has made me feel like I could contribute so much more to this world, even though I'm ordinary. Even though I'm an introvert, I know that my knowledge could help others.

It has introduced me to wonderful actors. It has made me pay closer attention to things, in media and in real life.

The main reason I wanted to write this article is because of this one theory I have.

The Doctor doesn't save companions. They save him.

Sure, he might be the one to save them from being demolished by an intergalactic alien. But they save him from himself, his melancholic, lonely self.

And that's what I love about this show the most.

Because without the sidekicks, you don't have the hero.

My thoughts.

I've always been one who was a leader type.

Not in an immodest way, it's just when presented with a social group I tend to be a decision maker. And catalyst. I've had many moments I'm not proud of while being a small social leader, but we make mistakes just to learn from them.

Sure, I may have made an impact on some.

Maybe I've even impacted you in a way.

But I have a bigger goal. And it is somewhat imaginary for me.

Ever since I have grown up, I've began to despise many things about this world. It's why I don't keep an ear on politics and the news. But still, that hasn't helped at all. I'm still tainted by opinions that were preached onto me; even if I try to look at a different perspective, a little voice pecks at me. "No! That isn't right! It is against your beliefs!"

I'm trying to push that away.

At the same time, I try not to focus on things that makes this voice come to mind.

Another thing that is difficult is that I try to discuss these new opinions with family. Now, my family. I love them to bits. But, damn! They are very judgmental on certain aspects of life.

I tell them that I don't want to practice religion anymore. They got very steamed, but it's come to the point where I don't care what they want me to think. I respect their wishes, and they should at least put some effort on their part, even pretend!

Anyways, I don't want to get too personal here.

In this day and age, their isn't much optimism going on. Everyone wants change, and they want a more positive time and age. But they aren't doing much to change it. I'm a hypocrite. It takes one to know one.

All they care about is celebrities who have serious issues and spending money on useless projects.

At least I care about something that could, one day, be extremely important. Might even exist.

Space. Time travel. Multiverses. Other living creatures.

I'm not pining over some celebrity who is tunneling into an early death. I'd rather focus on something much more interesting and monumental.

Something that could change everything. How we live. How we see life.

Going back to the change thing.

I was affecting my social groups, which doesn't happen too often because I'm very quiet and kept to myself. Introverted, if you will.

Even though you might not make a change outside, with actual people and an actual place, you can change it here.

The internet.

It's brilliant, absolutely brilliant! People complain that there isn't much going on, but the internet has changed many. It's a place for change.

I would say it is a whole Enlightment. A cyber- Enlightment.

And I want to take part of it.

I could change little outside in real time. But here, you can reach millions.

It's brilliant.

Change.

Think.

There is never peace. Ever.
But sometimes, you could think of it as an incentive. Something worth fighting for.
You always have a conflict in your life, but do you ever think something worse could happen? So what if you didn't get a good grade on an assignment, it isn't a life or death situation.
Think about it.
What could be terrible to you could be mild to another. There is always something worse that could happen to you.
Everybody has there worst fear. For many it's death. Others think of aliens or monsters. The list is endless.
But what happens when you reach your worst point?
You can't brush it off like the others.
It's your final conflict.
You've come to peace.
And it's all from a thought.

Evolution

What would've happened if the human species wasn't as intelligent as it was and didn't create all the things in order to grow?

I know there might be a whole scientific explanation, but me being my naive self, felt like talking about it. I mean come on, I need something to blog about, right?

Do you think if we didn't grow as a race, that a different species would've done something?

Maybe we would just act like animals too, and coexist with the other animals.

I wonder if there is a dimension out there that shows what would've happened if the human race wasn't as complex as it was here.

What do you think?

My thoughts on domestic violence

Today I just felt like discussing the debatable topic of domestic violence.

Many people complain that women get more justice in this than men do. I think their is a fair balance.

Women have been discriminated for many years, so I don't understand why men complain. Each gender isn't superior, and I don't know why one gender has has to be inferior.

If either the husband/wife abuses their significant other, both should get the same punishment; completely disregarding their gender.

We are all the same species, it doesn't matter what parts we do or do not have.

This also applies to all the sexist jokes, groups, and the 'who has it harder deal'.

It's all a bunch of bullshit. We are all in this together, and it doesn't matter what role we take in our existence.

Please let me know what you think!

Why I love comic books

Comic books. You either love 'em, or hate 'em.

Now, as you know, or are now finding out, I am a female. When I usually tell people that I love comics, they think I mean manga or something. But I tell them 'No', I love comic books. X-Men, Fantastic Four, the Avengers.

I don't favor DC Comics, simply because they don't really have intricate details on the story line and characters. But I very much like Marvel, as the imagery is heavenly, and the story is delightful.

My favorite comic is X-Men, and I'm basically an X-Men encyclopedia.

You can ask me about any character in there, and I could give you loads of facts. Any other girl out there obsessed with X-Men, or any other Marvel comic?

People think of it as a childish pleasure, but I think of it as a way to get your mind off of the cruel things happening in our dimension.

Principle shows it is possible that there are alternate realities, and I wonder what mutation/power I would have in that alternate world.

But back to the fact that people think of it as childish.

Nerds like comics. Nerds know best, or at least that's what I think.

So if nerds know best, and they like comics, doesn't that say that comics are, in fact, a good think?

I would like to know what your thoughts are! Please leave a comment below :)

My favorite comic book series at the moment...

I ruin other's dreams

I realize that almost everyday I commit a terrible crime. The crime of being a dream ruin-er.

Now, you may be confused. Ruining other's dreams you ask? Well, yes, that's exactly what I do. It's a habit of course.

You may be wondering how, what type of dreams am I ruining? I'm not talking about REM sleep dreams, I'm talking about future achievements.

I do it logically, only if one thing sounds like a one-in-a-million chance.

For instance, many of my friends/peers want to be superstars when they grow up. Ranging from famous singers, to actors, to big names in sports.

Instead of saying 'Wow! I'm sure you'll make it, you are wonderful at blah blah!', I usually say 'What will you do if you don't make it, I mean, there is a slight chance you'll reach that goal.'

They give me this look, as if they are obviously going to have a glamorous life once they grow up. It's like I'm trying to give them a blunt reality check. I have to remind them that not everything comes easy once you get out of school. Even if they do work hard, there isn't a big chance they will be famous when they grow up.

If they are right, they can tell me "I told you so!".

How they probably feel inside after I tell them off

Why I think there shouldn't be world peace

Many people think world peace will probably create a whole permanent golden age, and everyone will be happy. Honestly this is a flawed and impossible dream, because it will cause a whole line of new problems. First of all, it probably wouldn't last over one day, because someone will want to rebel sometime. We'd have to create new laws to preserve this whole new ideal, and that would not make everybody feel like it is fair. The next thing that would happen is that if people do want some change, and it goes against the new rules for world peace, they would get upset and start the rebellion. Also, in a way, this would be a form of communism, as everybody would be forced to be kind with each other, and not cause harm. Personally, I would go insane, because we cannot forget what wars happened in the past and how some countries haven't avenged their past. World peace wouldn't enable countries to get their justice. That's why I think there shouldn't be world peace, because there would be an inevitable majority of rebellion. Tell me what you think in the comments!

Theoretical Disney

Tonight, or today, whenever you're reading this, I have decided to make a post about the reality of fantasy of the 3 most weird classic Disney movies. Now, I know this is kind of strange, considering it is Valentine's Day (or as I say, Anti-Valentine's Day) and I'm blogging about conspiracy theories about Disney tales. But, hey, it's my blog, my rules. Kind of like the 'my house, my rules' saying... Now that I realize, if this was a house, it would be VERY disorganized. Well, depending on who disorganized it, that would be quite a puzzle to solve. It was me, then I would know where I stuffed the crap. You know, I'm getting off topic. That shows this house would be messy. Well, back to the main topic. Disney. Conspiracy. Theories. By the way, it's my thoughts, so please add what you think below if you want to catch along!

1. Alice in Wonderland

Oh, little Alice. This is by far my favorite classic movie because of all the screwed up things that happen. This chick eats a bunch of crap that makes stuff happen to her, and sees magical plant and animals and people. This shows that this girl could be on shrooms. Considering she is, what, about 9, is kind of a frightening story. This is the literal story: The girl is with her sister and then becomes drowsy. She then falls asleep and then dreams that she enters this mad world. She eats special cake and drinks some sort of substance and then enters a forest. She goes on a quest and encounters many strange things and people. A lot of these things/people are quite rude to her. Now, from what I could conspire here is that this story is basically telling a story of a drug addict with abusive people in her life.

2. Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs

Sweet, sweet Snow White. Such innocence and effervescence, who on Earth would want to ruin her spirits? Well the Evil Queen, but besides that, the story. Literal story: Snow lives with her evil stepmother, who is really a witch, and then needs to escape from her evil clutches. She then finds a cottage and then becomes the care taker of the Seven Dwarfs. They are very fond of her, and become protective. One day, they go mining, and the Evil Queen comes in the form of an old woman and gives Snow a poisonous apple. The dwarfs return and freak out, and then find out she needs true love's kiss. A prince comes and kisses her, the rest is history! Now from what I take, this story is about a clueless girl who lives with her evil stepmother. She has 7 over protective and careless boyfriends, and then the 8th one is finally kind to her. She then changes her clueless ways and gets away from her evil stepmom. Honestly, I like the Once Upon A Time twist on this story better than the original!

3. Cinderella

This one also is quite similar to the previous story. Wow, Disney really likes woman to have abusive pasts. Anyways, in the story, the stepmother isn't a witch, and Cinderella temporarily runs away. She goes to a ball, has a blast with the prince and the stepmom and the stepsisters get pissed off. The prince eventually finds her after she left her glass slipper and they live happily ever after after she gets away from the stepmother. Now my twist on the story is Cinderella is a slut and she goes off with her sister's boyfriend to rave party. She is a wild child and confides in her drug dealer 'the Godmother', who many times, let's her crash in her apartment after rave parties. She has pet rats, which her stepmother hates. The stepmother is misunderstood, and only wants the best for Cinderella. At the end, the boyfriend leaves the sister to be with Cindy. You see what drugs can do, kids?

Valentine's Day... Dyslogistical Holiday

In 10 days time, a monumental annual event will occur. I say it's a complete waste of time, money, and effort.

A day were there are crappy tasting heart candies, a day were you indulge for no reason. A day some would feel lonely.

I think you would know this as Valentine's Day.

Now there is a whole history, with a priest that was martyred for the love of others. Why do we say 'for the love of God?!' when we could say 'for the love of Valentine?!'.

I'm not going to get into the whole history, but I just wanted to extract what the exact the logic. What people have turned this day into.

Valentine was a pretty passionate guy, and at first, I'm sure this day was to honor his braveness or benevolence. But now its just a day when people show more love for each other, or more so, lust. They also  seduce themselves with high sugar consumption and cheesy greeting cards. Many movies are based off it too.

The logic that I see behind this, is a day to worship someone more than you usually do. Now that's just plain stupid.

You should treat your partner like royalty every day. Or just don't treat them like crap and treat them nicely on this day.

Maybe the sentiment behind this day is cute and all, but still, shouldn't you live like this whenever you want and not just this one day taking out of this year?

My point is, be romantic everyday, or whenever you desire. Just take this day to honor St.Valentine.

What do you think? Do you enjoy Valentine's Day? Please feel free to comment below! :)

Future... Win or Bust?

As we know, technology is slowly coming to its full peak.

In fact, I think its going BEYOND the boundaries we thought it would. With all the new creations that genius people make each and every year, we are very dependent on technology nowadays.

I was reading this article that I stumbled upon, I will but the link when I finish, and I read the highly possible things that will occur these next 110 years. Things like injections that could cure radiation poisoning and clothes that could clean themselves. Things that would be amazing for our slowly deteriorating ecosystem.

Then I read that robots that would take over jobs, like personal training or doctoring. At first I thought "Wow, this will be great!" But, I thought again.

If we get robots to do our jobs, how will we earn money? They are basically doing the work for us, how could we earn money to survive?

Would we just earn money without doing anything?

Would we not use money at all and just be given things?

The only possible job I think a person could have in this possible "utopia", is to program and operate the machinery.

So in conclusion, I would be against robots taking over jobs.

What do you think? Let me know below! :)

Obvious Rant

I just wanted to discuss something that bothers me EXTREMELY. It is practically my number one tick, and possibly yours. It HAS to be in your top 5 ticks, or that is just my estimate. It is so annoying. Are you ready for it? Wait, why am I asking, I'm not going to get a response. Okay, just disregard it. I'll get to it. Stating the obvious. Now, this comes from specific people in my life. Teachers, strangers, peers, sometimes even friends. I have to admit, I sometimes do it myself. But, most times I refrain and remind myself to be courteous to others because I know I HATE it myself. I would only wish this on my worst enemy. I know I am kind of over reacting. You know what, not kind of, I really am. But I take a lot of things to deep thought. And this is probably the most prominent. Today I nearly EXPLODED with anger when this one girl in my class portrayed my number one pet peeve. The bell had just rung, signaling class was over. She turns over to me, using her soft and innocent voices, the ones people use to seem all angelical and stuff. Then she says, "The bell just rang." In the inside, I was turning from Jean Grey to Phoenix Force. Does she think I'm deaf or something? It was probably because all throughout the day, people were doing the Captain Obvious thing to. It was like throwing coal into an blazing fire. Well anyways, I just felt like complaining to something/someone without offending the specific targets of my torment. 'kay, thanks, bye. o_O

New T.V

Hi Readers,
Today I want to RANT about the new television shows they have in the U.S. In previous years, the shows were witty, will written, and had a unique plot that made you want to watch more and more. Over time, it seems that television show writers have lost creativity and make shows in the same range. Now most shows are sitcoms about families with similar issues. It is hard to find a good show now these days, which is why I think the internet has killed television. On the internet, there so much more of a wide selection than there is on TV. Slowly this pattern has begun in the movie industries too. Usually only the book-made movies and the indie movies are the interesting ones. Now with all the new technology, movie producers think it's about the quality of the look and not the plot. I can totally disagree, I would rather watch a crappy looking but interesting animation than a good looking SGI but bad plot animation. I wish these people would open their eyes and see that not many people are liking this. Every time people ask me what is my favorite T.V show, I always have to think about an answer because it is hard to find a good one. The same goes for the amount of TV I watch, which is quite rarely. People are amazed, but now I see it isn't really hard to believe now with all the boringness. I've resorted to being a internet addict, and I'm glad I made the decision.
